TRAILS

Zion Canyon and Cedar Breaks are known for their majestic red mountains, providing many with hiking experiences on rocky terrain. Springdale, Utah is located just outside the South entrance to Zion National Park. Zion Park Blvd, the road into Zion, follows the Virgin River. The trails are accessible by the Zion Park Shuttle.

Trails in the south part of Zion range from a 1/2 mile round trip to Weeping Rock to 10 miles RT on the West Rim Trail. Most of these trails are steep and dangerous.

Trails start at the following Shuttle stop points: Zion Canyon Vistor Center (Easiest trail,) Weeping Rock, Temple of Sinawava (for going to "The Narrows,") Zion Lodge, and The Grotto.
